Right click on macOS 10.12 Sierra.rar, Select “Extract Here”. Nicely written – worked as expected on an Intel box with VMware Workstation 14 and an Intel i7-6850. The only issue I have is that the VM opens in the normal 1920 x 1080 resolution at the login screen, then when I log in it changes (very shortly during the login process) to some ridiculous 960 x 540 (HiDPI) scaled resolution. Now this COULD well me my not knowing anything Macintosh, but I use the Display settings tool and see the native resolution in the status box and/or “Scaled” to “Default for display” radio button and when I click either of them the system briefly changes to the normal 1920 x 1080 then flips back to the lower res setting. Am I missing something here?
